Our experience will teach you the fundamentals of music production, including sound design, arrangement, mixing and mastering. You will learn how to use industry-standard software such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro X and FL Studio.

Our curriculum is designed to be flexible and tailored to your individual needs and interests. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced producer looking to take your skills to the next level, we can help you achieve your goals.

In addition to technical skills, we also focus on developing your creativity and musicality. We encourage experimentation and exploration of different genres and styles.

Our local classes are held at our local studio on the region of chapada diamantina – BA. If you are unable to attend in person, we also offer online classes via video conferencing. If you are unable to attend in person, we also offer online classes via video conferencing.

Module 1 - Introduction
  • - Daw introduction.
  • Digital Audio Workstation introduction.(Ableton Live, Bitwig, Cubase, Logic, Reaper, etc)

  • - Learn the basic settings.
  • How to setup the basic audio settings to start producing.

  • - Audio Tracks, Midi tracks, Sub-channel (send) Tracks.
  • The different kind of tracks that you can load in the DAW.

  • - Learn to load Instruments, Samplers and Fxs.
  • The Different kind of plugins you can use in the DAW

  • - Piano Roll.
  • Introduction to the piano roll and how to start using it.


Module 2 - Sequencing Basics
  • - Learn to build a "drum machine".
  • Setting up a multitrack midi channel with a drum kit to be used in Electronic Dance Music

  • - Sequencing a basic drum pattern.
  • Basic sequencing of drum patterns based on specific chosen genre

  • - Sequencing a kick and bass.
  • Different kind of kick and bass patterns for specific genres.

  • - Concept of 8 bar Loop.
  • Analyzing the structure of the patterns for specific genres.

  • Building a basic "interesting" track using only drums and bass.


Module 3 - Arrangement Concept
  • - Concept to the layers of composition.
  • How to form a complete composition using concept of environment, body and energy with the synths

  • - Sequencing synths.
  • Ideias of synthing sequencing and concept of question and answer

  • - Synthesizer basics.
  • Introduction to synthesizers, the modules and basic sounds

  • - Fx basics and automation.
  • Introduction to basic Effects units and how to do automations to automatic modulations

Module 4 - Improvements
  • - Equalization Basics.
  • Introduction to properly starting using equalizers.

  • - Lead sequencing and design.
  • Learn to sequence leads and some lead sound design ideias for specific genres

  • - Music Theory Basics.
  • Learn how to do the 2 main standards musical theory scale such as minor and major natural.

  • - Bass design.
  • How to properly start to design bass sounds to specific selected genres on a synthesizer.


Module 5 - Mix Techniques
  • - Compression.
  • How and why to use compression

  • - Advance equalization.
  • Advanced techniques to properly use your ears to equalize your sounds.

  • - Stereo Placement.
  • Understanding stereo placement and the different techniques to set the position of your sounds

  • - Distortion/Saturation
  • How to use distortion or saturation to improve your mixing.


Module 6 - Sound Design. (optional)
  • - Pads/Atmosphere.
  • Pad and atmosphere sounds design to use as background

  • - Effects.
  • Design of effect and abstract sounds to be used as body or energy of your tracks

  • - Leads.
  • Design of lead sounds

  • - KicknBass.
  • Advanced techniques for the design of kick and bass
